We want a to-do app that adapts to people, not one that asks people to adapt to it. Tasks are arranged the way the mind processes work: what can be done now, what is still blocked, and which step opens up the rest.
The ideal is an app you use every day without noticing it is there — nothing to maintain, nothing to decide about how to organize, and the next thing to do simply in front of you.
That is what we are building. It is also where the name comes from: Smart To Do, written as one word — Smartodo.
